Pigeons were used to deliver messages across enemy lines, and their ability to return home made them a symbol of safe passage and communication. In addition, the white color of many pigeons has been associated with purity and innocence, further reinforcing their symbolism of peace. As the war in Ukraine continues, we decided to create a white shirt with black handmade embroidered pigions.
