In 2022, Sønderhaus was born — founded by Olive Redd and quickly joined by two sisters and a best friend. Coming from a tight-knit family of fashion-loving folk, we are obsessed with claiming heirlooms passed down from older generations: an aunt’s military pants that fit just right, dad’s high-school screen-printed tees, grandpa’s heavy wool ski sweater he bought in his 20s, mom’s 90s sweaters that fit just right — these pieces have always been something that tied the family together. Sønderhaus was created out of a desire to craft quality pieces that embody the culture of our family and heritage. All of our collections are small batch to avoid waste and ensure that our products are loved enough by our customers to reorder. Our products are made to last. We work closely with our manufacturing partners through a thorough and mindful production process that takes 8–12 months from design to launch.
