Founded in 2018 in celebration of the sea and women of all shapes and sizes, Galamaar is modern earth-friendly swimwear made in L.A. Our mission is to create enduring designs by combining clean lines with a nod to the past. Our swimwear is meticulously cut to accentuate the female form and is made for comfort and functionality. With thoughtful consideration for quality in materials and construction, our intent is to create elevated wardrobe staples steadfast through changing trends and wear. Because sustainability is a journey, not a destination, no detail is too small to consider; from our made-in-LA pad inserts, recycled hang tags, regenerated mixed metal hardware, eco-packaging materials, and other mindful practices, we do our best to minimize our negative impact. Most notable is our amazing fabric made of nylon from discarded fishing nets that account for nearly 10% of all ocean pollution. How poetic is that? Literally pulling trash from the ocean to make garments made for swimming. Not only does our fabric have waste-to-wear properties, but also it's engineered to last a very long time with exceptional fit retention. Combine that with our quality construction, and you've got one long-lasting swimsuit. Equally important are the beautiful humans that bring our products to life.
