BERENIK designer Veronika Brusa graduated from The School of Design at the GBS St. Gallen with a degree in visual arts, communication and design. In 2010, she used her artistic background to develop Berenik into a art-as-brand-as-art clothing line. Brusa is fascinated with materials and machines used to create clothing and finds her greatest inspiration in the space between the idea and the completion of a garment. The brand’s focus on process led to an understanding of what it takes to make clothing production sustainable. To give back some of what they take from the earth to make their strikingly chic collections, Berenik now donates 10% of the proceeds from each sale to ONETREEPLANTED.ORG. 1 dollar = 1 tree, so they are proud to promise that each order plants a small forest.
