Pleats Please pieces are lightweight, easy to layer, anti-static, and never wrinkle. Made in Japan. First launched in the ISSEY MIYAKE line in 1988, this pleats line grew until it finally became a brand of its own with an independent Spring/Summer 1994 collection. Issey Miyake developed a patented technique called “Finished Pleating” for the foundation of this brand. Unlike most pleated products, where the fabric is first pleated and then cut and sewn, a PLEATS PLEASE garment is first cut and sewn from the original fabric and pleated after the garment is sewn together. PLEATS PLEASE reflects Issey Miyake's fundamental concept that "design is not for philosophy, but for life," and continues to evolve today.

Details: Showcases a pixel-like design with gradient patterns. Structured design mirroring a sheath silhouette. Round neck. Short sleeves. Pulls over.

Fabric & Material: 100% polyester. Lining: 100% polyester.

Size & Fit: Midi-dress (About 46" inches from shoulder to hem).
Model measurements: 5'10" tall. Model is wearing a US size 4.

Unique Sizing: Each Pleats Please garment fits standard sizes 0-18. Select your size based on length only (Size 1 is shortest, size 5 is longest). There is only a minor change in garment width between sizes due to the pleating technique.

Care Instructions: Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle. Dry flat in the shade. Do not line dry. Roll in the direction of the pleat to store. Do not hang. DO NOT dry clean, steam, iron, bleach, tumble dry, or use fabric softener.
